We're thrilled to celebrate our special day with you in beautiful MĂ©rida, Mexico!
Our Story
We first met in September 2017, when we both lived at West Dorm at Harvey Mudd College, Daphne as a freshman (first year), and Conner as a junior (third year).
Daphne was immediately charmed by Conner's energy. He cooked for the dorm, told riveting stories, and was always down for an adventure (though he now claims that cooking was a "phase", unfortunately for Daphne). Conner was drawn to Daphne's optimism, her care for others, and excitement for all that life had to offer. We quickly became friends, and started dating in October (our first date was a visit to the Scripps College pool). For most of the last 8 years, we've lived apart. Conner in SF, then Chicago. Daphne in Claremont, then SF, then London. After 6 years of long-distance, we finally moved in together in NYC, into our cozy East Village apartment. We are so excited to kick off this new chapter of our lives with our wedding, and to celebrate with our loved ones in beautiful MĂ©rida!Weekend Schedule

The wedding ceremony begins at 5:00 PM at Hacienda Sac Chich, followed by dinner and dancing. Shuttle pickup is at 4:00 PM from Paseo 60.

Location
The wedding will take place at the stunning Hacienda Sac Chich, in the jungle just outside MĂ©rida, Mexico. This historic venue features beautiful architecture and lush surroundings.

Optional Saturday Excursion
Join us the day after the wedding for a day trip to Uxmal ruins and Cenote Peba. Transportation is included — just bring cash for entrance fees:
- Uxmal: 610 MXN (~$30 USD / ~$240 HKD)
- Cenote: 180 MXN (~$9 USD / ~$70 HKD)
Pickup: 12:00 PM at Paseo 60. Our team will be there to meet you.
Also bring a hat, sunscreen, and swimsuit/towel for the cenote.

- Chichén Itzá: Explore the iconic Mayan ruins, about 1.5 hours from Mérida — a must-see Wonder of the World and UNESCO heritage site!
- MĂ©rida Exploration: Wander the vibrant streets, visit Plaza Grande, or browse local markets full of color and culture.
- Cenotes: Swim in the Yucatan's famous natural sinkholes—crystal-clear waters and a refreshing adventure.

FAQ
US, UK, and Hong Kong citizens don't need a visa for tourist stays in Mexico (up to 180 days). Just bring a valid passport.
MĂ©rida International Airport (MID) is the closest, about 30-45 minutes from downtown MĂ©rida. You could also fly into Cancun (CUN), though that will be another 3-4 hours by car.
Yes! MĂ©rida is known as one of Mexico's safest cities. The U.S. State Department rates Yucatan as Level 1 ("Exercise Normal Precautions").
We'll provide transportation to/from the wedding for guests staying in Mérida. For Saturday excursions, consider renting a car — Uber works in Mérida but not near the Hacienda.
April is warm and dry — highs around 90°F (32°C), lows near 70°F (21°C). Pack light layers and sunscreen.
Not black tie, but dress sharp. Think cocktail attire and bright spring colours. Most importantly, you'll want something breathable! The men in the wedding party are wearing linen suits, for example. Some ideas here!
Wear what makes you comfortable. If that means dressing up, great! If that means wearing flip flops, that's fine too (but make sure your toes look nice).
